MANAGERS – AUDIT/TAX

Managers are essentially partners-in-training and are involved in almost all of the areas for which partners are responsible. They have exhibited technical proficiency and the ability to supervise and complete engagements, possess a thorough knowledge of the firm’s policies and procedures and serve as intermediaries between partners, clients and senior accountants. In addition, managers possess the experience and overall potential necessary to be considered for admission as a partner in the firm.

Manager Requirements:

    1. Public firm experience within the last 2 consecutive years
    2. A minimum of 8+ years of work experience with at least 3 years’ experience as a senior accountant
    3. CPA certified
    4. Able to lead and guide projects on a timely basis
    5. A desire to continue to grow in the profession of accounting
 

SENIOR ACCOUNTANTS – AUDIT/TAX

Seniors can perform most engagements with little supervision. They direct and review the work of staff accountants and are capable of making decisions on most accounting, tax and auditing matters. When unusual situations arise, they present the pertinent information to a manager or partner for advisement.

Senior Accountant Requirements:

  1. Must have at least a college undergraduate degree and have completed 30 hours in college-level accounting courses
  2. A minimum of three to five years experience in a public accounting firm, with at least one full year in a senior position (supervising staff)
  3. CPA Certified Preferred
 

STAFF ACCOUNTANTS – AUDIT/TAX

The primary characteristics we are looking for are organized, energetic and self-directed individuals with a professional appearance. We look for candidates with good oral and written communication skills. A Bachelors or Masters in Accounting with a minimum 3.0 GPA and the hours necessary to sit for the CPA exam are required.

QUALIFICTIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors/Master’s Degree in Marketing or related field
  • Proven  history of accomplishments in Business Development with professional services firms
  • 5+ years business development experience in the professional services industry
  • Generates opportunities with targeted prospects through agreed upon lead generation activities including cold calling, telemarketing campaigns, direct mail and e-mail campaigns, web seminars/seminars, business community outreach, networking, referral development, and other lead generation programs
  • Knowledge in the development, management and execution of sales and marketing processes including marketing and business development planning, lead generation, pipeline management, account planning, sales strategy and development
  • Define targeted companies and develop partnership relationships
  • Build profiles of organizational structure with key contacts
  • Maintain accurate and up to date fact sheets or related documents on all clients and targeted potential clients
  • Solicit opportunities to speak before professional organizations and business groups
  • High level of motivation and assertiveness
  • Develop, maintain, and expand client relationships
  • Identify new business opportunities
  • Assist with drafting proposals and marketing collateral for new business
  • Maintain customer data in internal systems
  • Assist with budgeting
  • Assist with other business development, marketing, and client support projects as needed
  • Solid understanding of sales processes from identification of opportunity through negotiation to  close of sale
  • Proven customer relationship skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Experience creating and managing proposals
  • Proven ability to work independently and as a self-starter
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Limited travel may be required
